Myakka River State Park - Myakka River State Park is out Route 72, Clark Rd. In our opinion the best place in the state to see alligators in their natural habitat and the second best place (after Siesta Key Beach) to catch a sunset!

Pelican Man Bird Sanctuary - Not the Culligan Man - PELICAN Man. They are a rescue organization and have a great tour of the facility - hundreds of local waterbirds - handicap accessible too.
